An Introduction:  Principles of Energy Medicine

HOME-PLAY

(January 22nd until February 18th)

1.    Breathe – and become conscious of your breath and where it is moving.

3.    Use the “Frequency” bookmark to track your thought and/or emotional frequency states. 

            ~ How often are you in high frequency states vs. low frequency states? 

            ~ When and where are you in high frequency states vs. low frequency states?

 

Quick glossary review:

  • Aura (auric field) – a seven-layered field of subtle energy that surrounds the physical body.  Lower aspects include the etheric body, the emotional body, the mental body, and astral body (grid).  Energy Medicine.Auric Levels.Physical Body.doc
  • Chakras – internal centers that are focal points (vortexes) through which energy flows. There are seven main chakras (on the front and the back of the body) with corresponding organs in the physical system.  Chakras.lotus.doc

  • Meridians – channels in the body through which energy flows.  There are twelve main meridians with points along each channel that allow practitioners to access the energy and treat “dis-orders”.  The Meridian System.doc

  • Neurolymphatic points/reflexes – ‘depressions’ on the physical body that can be used to stimulate meridians.  These points alleviate congestion in lymph and increase lymphatic drainage for positive health effects.  Neurolymphatic Massage Points.doc

Quick thought review:

  • Your energy is as unique as your thumbprint.  It is the living, vibrating ground of your being.

  • Your body is designed to heal itself.  When all of your energies are brought into harmony, your body will flourish.

  • Energy medicine does not diagnose or treat illness.  The focus is on assessing energy blocks and then correcting the flow and harmony to facilitate balance.

  • Triple Warmer meridian is the “fight or flight” meridian.  When you are stressed, it is on high alert – scanning the environment continuously for danger.  You can calm it by smoothing/tapping from the temples, up and behind the ears, and over the shoulders.

  • Every time you have a thought, that thought takes on an energetic existence - a thoughtform.  Since the universe does not know ‘good’ or ‘bad’ (just energy), it holds the energetic pattern of that thought in your cells for you.

  • The more you are ‘out of your body’ (living in the past or projecting fear into the future) the more psychic weight you will have – and the longer you will have to wait for healing (because you leak energy to the past/future).  Unfulfilled dreams take a lot of energy.  You often use your own energy to finance that debt…borrowing from your cell tissue.  This leads to a breakdown of cells/tissue and eventually dis-ease.
