Session 4: Seeking and Finding Balance
Gentle Reminders for a Balanced Life
1. Avoid tobacco products and street drugs.
2. Maintain a BMI (body mass index) between 19 and 24.
(Go to www.cdc.gov/healthyweight/assessing/bmi to determine your BMI.)
3. Eat at least 5 servings of fruit/vegetables daily.
4. Exercise 30 minutes per day 3X weekly.
5. Relax daily for 30 minutes
(lowers adrenalin production and insulin requirements by 50%
for the entire next 24 hours)
